About PANCS |
 |
Formed
in 2006, PANCS brings together the Associations for Canadian Studies
in the Asia Pacific region, with the objective of fostering
linkages, encouraging new research and developing an Asia Pacific
dimension of Canadian Studies. The structure of PANCS is open and flexible,
with a rotating chair drawn from each of the member associations.
Among PANCS's regular activities are meetings of representatives of
the member associations, joint events (including conferences,
seminars and lecture tours), an annual Asia Pacific seminar on
graduate work in Canadian Studies, and publications of proceedings.
