AUSTRALASIAN CANADIAN STUDIES

Australasian Canadian Studies (formerly Australian Canadian Studies) is a multidisciplinary journal of Canadian studies. It is the official journal of the Association for Canadian Studies in Australia and New Zealand (ACSANZ) and is published twice a year. Australasian Canadian Studies is a double blind refereed journal for the humanities and social sciences that welcomes Canadian and comparative Australian–New Zealand–Canadian analysis. The audience is worldwide.

For over two decades, Australasian Canadian Studies has provided a forum for a diverse body of scholarship. Contributions from across the full range of humanities and social sciences are welcome. Both disciplinary and interdisciplinary analyses are sought and a wide range of methodologies encouraged.

Australasian Canadian Studies publishes articles (5,000–8,000 words), essays and discussion papers (1,000–4,000 words), and book reviews (1,000–2,000 words). The editor invites submissions on any topic in Canadian studies and the study of Canada, including comparisons between Canada and other countries.

Manuscripts should conform to the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition. The manuscript title and author’s name and address should appear on a separate cover sheet. To preserve anonymity during the refereeing process, the author’s identity should not be exposed in the text or notes.

Manuscripts, enquiries and books for review should be sent to the Journal Editor:
